In an effort to give back to those players who shaped the success in the NBA today, Thomas has agreed to contribute a portion of the sale of every bottle to fund healthcare and education programs through the NBRPA. Additionally, Cheurlin has secured a partnership with the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) to also fund needed assistance programs for current players, thus making Cheurlin Champagne the “Player’s Choice” for celebrating accomplishments, milestones, family and friends.

In an event timed with the NBA Pre-Draft Combine, Thomas was surrounded by current and former NBA legends as well as NBA executives and civic leaders as he raised a glass to the partnership that will also deliver needed funds to aid ailing retired players by contributing to the National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA) healthcare and education programs made available to former players and their families each year.

“What Isiah and Cheurlin are doing to give back to former players who seek help in finding adequate healthcare and education opportunities for themselves and their families is commendable and a huge gesture of support for a group that helped pave the way to make the NBA what it is today,” said Scott Rochelle, CEO of the NBRPA.

“We want to deliver a reasonably priced champagne that didn’t come with a headache the next day,” Thomas said. “It took years, but that’s exactly what we’ve found in Cheurlin Champagne.”

In France, Thomas Cheurlin dreamed of taking his family’s champagne to the U.S. to introduce American consumers to “grower champagnes,” environmentally-friendly champagne produced using only superior tasting, estate-grown grapes. The recent partnership between Thomas and Cheurlin has made it possible for ISIAH Imports to showcase the Champagne here in the U.S.
